Tim Holm is a freelance journalist currently based in London. Born in Victoria on Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia, Canada to an English mother and an Icelandic-Canadian father who met in the Bahamas, he has followed in their footsteps as a globetrotter, having travelled to over a dozen countries. He majored in Pacific Asia Studies and Japanese at university and still maintains a passionate interest in topics related to the Asian region. Tim has most recently lived and worked in Seoul, South Korea as an English instructor for adult students, where he also studied the Korean language. Culture and food are his main areas of expertise.
